Remembering Pleasanton Resident Joyce Ann Pernus

PLEASANTON, CA: Joyce Ann Pernus, 73, a former Pleasanton resident, passed away on February 1, 2016. She retired from the Livermore City Clerk’s Office prior to moving to Louisville, Kentucky.

Joyce was born on July 1, 1942, in San Francisco, California to the late Henry and Mildred (Vickery) Barone. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joel Pernus, three daughters, and three grandchildren.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21st, 2016 at Robert Livermore Community Center, North Larkspur room located at 4444 East Avenue in Livermore.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
