Road Closures Planned Friday In Pleasanton
Pleasanton police plan to close a portion of Santa Rita Road during a protest Friday.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police said Santa Rita Road from Black Avenue to Valley Avenue will be closed from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday during a protest.
Protesters calling for racial justice in the wake of George Floyd's death plan to gather at 2 p.m. Friday at Amador Valley Community Park. The protest will proceed northbound on Santa Rita Road, Pleasanton police said.
Police said they will be at the protest to ensure all goes smoothly.
