Santa Arrives In Pleasanton Weeks Before Thanksgiving

As families clear out Halloween decorations to make way for Thanksgiving trimmings, Santa's already celebrating Christmas in Pleasanton.

PLEASANTON, CA — The tired phrase "early bird catches the worm" has not been lost on Santa Claus. Old Saint Nick arrives at Stoneridge Shopping Center in Pleasanton Friday, Nov. 8., and will stick around until Christmas Eve.

Looking for some special Saint Nick time? Breakfast with Santa is happening Saturday, Nov. 9, 8:30-10 a.m. Reserve your spot.

Pet Photo Night: This is an opportunity for all members of the family, pet and human, to visit with Santa. The fun will take place after regular mall hours on Sunday, Nov. 24, from 5-7 p.m. For those concerned about pet allergies, mall officials say the area will "receive extensive cleaning following the event to minimize potential risks to allergy sufferers."

Caring Santa: Children with special needs get an opportunity to visit with Santa in a "sensory-friendly environment." Caring Santa is made possible in association with Autism Speaks, and will take place before regular mall hours on Sunday, Dec. 8, from 9-11 a.m. Guests can reserve their appointment online.
