School Kids Score Summer-Long Discount At Pleasanton Burger Joint

PLEASANTON, CA — iniBurger, a gourmet burger restaurant with a location on Rosewood Drive in Pleasanton and another in Fremont, is launching a "Summer Student Discount Pass," which — in short — means kids in grades K-12 receive a 10% discount through Sept. 1.

“We’re thrilled to be offering our youngest customers the opportunity to come in with their families and friends to grab customizable burgers, sliders and sides this summer,” said Abdul Popal, iniBurger founder.

iniBurger prides itself on its "iniBurger Gourmet, Your Way" mission.

Both restaurants, launched during the height of the pandemic, serve up a Halal-certified menu, with veggie options, featuring such burgers as the "Americano" (Angus beef, sauce, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions), the "Hawaiian Spice" (Angus beef with cheddar cheese, pineapple and jalapeno), "Waffle'n Out" (chicken, "Boom Sauce," cheese, grilled onions, fried egg, turkey bacon on waffle potato bun) and the "Falafel" (falafel, tahini sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickles).

Also on the menu are the (kinda zany) Nashville Hot Chicken and Ice Cream sandwich, milk shakes, root beer floats, fries, onion rings, salads and chicken wings.

"Our inaugural 'Summer Student Discount Pass' is our attempt at making fresh, fun, and flavorful food more obtainable to youngsters on summer break, all the while making sure that parents feel good knowing that the meals we’re feeding them are good for you, too, ” Popal said.

In Pleasanton, iniBurger is at 4233 Rosewood Drive, and in Fremont at 44029 Osgood Road. Both sites are open Sundays through Thursdays 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Follow this link for more info and menu details.
