SEE: Pleasanton Police Find Car Filled With Stolen Items

Police worked Tuesday to reunite some people with their stolen property.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasantan police nabbed the driver of a stolen car Tuesday with a "shocking amount of stolen property inside," the police department said.

Mail, credit cards, backpacks and laptops were among the loot, police said. Fortunately the owners had provided police with serial numbers of their stolen items and officers were able to start contacting the owners within hours, police said.
