PLEASANTON, CA — Alameda County finalized elections results on Tuesday afternoon, marking the end of a weeks-long ballot counting process following the Nov. 3 presidential election.

Election workers tallied 785,215 votes. Turnout was at 81 percent.

Pleasanton Unified School District Board

• Stephen Maher: incumbent (30%, 26,247 votes)
• Mary Jo Carreon: retired teacher, parent (20%, 17,569 votes)
• Kelly Mokashi: eLearning education professional (19%, 16,226 votes)
• Jamie Yee: incumbent (17%, 14,741 votes)
• Chong Wang: IT consultant, parent (14%, 12,014 votes)

Mayor

• Karla Brown: Pleasanton city councilmember, businesswoman (47%, 18,192 votes)
• Jerry Pentin: Pleasanton city councilmember, businessman (35%, 13,533 votes)
• Monith Ilavarasan: product manager (10%, 3,841 votes)
• Druthi Ghanta: health engineer, scientist (withdrawn from race; 5%, 1,981 votes)
• Tom Turpel: digital marketing manager (3%, 967 votes)

• Valerie Arkin: PUSD board member
• Jack Balch: certified public accountant
