I-580 Reopens In Pleasanton After Crash Prompts Sig-Alert
Tri-Valley drivers experienced delays after a Monday morning crash that blocked I-580 lanes.
PLEASANTON, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a Sig-alert following an injury crash on westbound Interstate 580 in Pleasanton. The alert was issued around 5:30 a.m. Monday by the California Highway Patrol's Dublin office and and rescinded shortly after.
The wreck has since been cleared, but initially blocked several lanes on westbound Interstate 580 just east of the connector to Interstate 680. The crash, which involved at least two big-rigs and several other vehicles, was reported at 5:17 a.m., according to CHP records.
