Burnham is lauded for his Broadway run in the mega-hit musical, “Wicked,” playing Fiyero, the role that he originated in the show’s developmental workshops. He is an original Broadway cast member of “The Light in The Piazza,” performing both on the Tony Awards and the PBS telecast “Live from Lincoln Center.” Awards include the prestigious “Helen Hayes Award” for Best Actor, and the Best Actor “Garland Award” for his portrayal of Fabrizio in “The Light in The Piazza,” among other honors.
Fans and followers note Burnham’s first national critical acclaim came when he replaced Donny Osmond as Joseph in the national tour of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” no small feat. “Joseph” was followed by another blockbuster national tour playing Peter in “Jesus Christ Superstar.” Last year he starred in the new Off-Broadway show “The Best is Yet to Come – The Music of Cy Coleman.”
Burnham performs regularly with symphony orchestras across North America and Europe. Additionally, he continues to be one of the top voiceover “leading men” in animated children’s films.
