Vegetation Fire Breaks Out In Sunol Early Thursday

No evacuations orders were issued, according to a fire dispatcher.

SUNOL, CA — Alameda County Fire Department crews extinguished a vegetation fire in the unincorporated area of Sunol early this morning, according to fire dispatch. The blaze was first reported at midnight in the 7400 block of Sheridan Road just south of Interstate Highway 680, fire officials said.

No evacuations orders were issued, according to a fire dispatcher. No further information is immediately available.
