Wildfire Blazes South Of Pleasanton
The fire was reported late Friday near the Callippe Preserve Golf Course.

PLEASANTON, CA — A wildfire burning south of Pleasanton was contained at 16 acres as of 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Dubbed the Golf Fire, the blaze was growing at a moderate rate of spread Friday night and spread to 35 acres as of 11 p.m. Friday, Cal Fire said.
The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department was called to an area near the Callippe Preserve Golf Course around 9:30 p.m., according to PulsePoint. Cal Fire and Camp Parks firefighters are also on the scene.
