2 Peninsula Students Receive $5,000 Scholarships
Caden Kalagayan and Isiah Sneedten are among ten young athletes from the Bay Area, and beyond, who received the scholarships.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Two Peninsula students each received $5,000 scholarships from the Giants Community Fund earlier this month. They're among ten young athletes to receive the awards.
San Bruno's Caden Kalagayan and Isiah Sneedten attended a ceremony at home plate at Oracle Park on Aug. 10 where they received their scholarships.
Students were chosen based on their leadership skills, character, academic potential and Junior Giants involvement.

This year’s scholars are:
- Daniel Rodriguez, Antioch
- Caydence Rodriguez, Lodi
- Micheline Ma, Milpitas
- Michael Medina, Milpitas
- Isabel Rodriguez, Morgan Hill
- Elijah Ramirez, Newark
- Garrett Juretic, San Luis Obispo
- Caden Kalagayan, San Bruno
- Isiah Sneed, San Bruno
- Iris Cruz, Stockton
Since its inception in 1991, the Giants Community Fund has donated more than $30 million to community programs.
