Alex The Rabbit Joins SFO's Stress-Relief 'Wag Brigade': Photos

SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ? Travelers heading through the San Francisco International Airport may run into a stress-relief animal in the form of a 28-pound Flemish Giant rabbit.
Alex the Great ? a fixture at Giants and Warriors games ? was announced Wednesday as the first rabbit to join the Wag Brigade, a group of animals composed of mostly dogs trained to help passengers de-stress while traveling through the airport.
The Flemish Giant rabbit is considered the largest breed of domestic rabbit, with attributes of being docile and patient. Alex is expected to visit SFO several times a month.

The Wag Brigade made its return to SFO in October 2021, and all animals are certified through San Francisco SPCA?s Animal Assisted Therapy Program.
