Exhibit: San Mateo Shopping and Dining Memorabilia

Details: Through the years San Mateo has always had quite a few shopping and dining destinations. An exhibit highlighting these locales, where memories were often made, will be on display in the Second Floor Display Case at the Main Library from December 20, 2013 through January 30, 2014. This exhibit includes historical photographs of downtown San Mateo and the Hillsdale Shopping Center as well as menus from Blum’s and Stickney’s and ephemera from stores such as I. Magnin, City of Paris, Joseph Magnin and Levy Bros.
