Crash Shuts Down Lanes On State Route 92, Causing Delays

FOSTER CITY, CA — Multiple lanes were blocked Wednesday morning following a collision on westbound State Route 92 in Foster City, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at 10:23 a.m. just east of the Foster City Boulevard off-ramp, according to preliminary CHP logs. As many as seven vehicles were reportedly blocking the slow lane, with one BMW suffering major front-end damage.

A SIG-alert was issued at 10:45 a.m., saying three lanes were blocked from the collision. Delays were expected, with no timetable for reopening the roadway.

An ambulance and tow trucks were at the scene, CHP logs showed.
