The Freedom Foundation continues to identify and help those in immediate need of disaster-related aid because helping people is its mission.

The tail end of 2017 has been heavily dominated with news of the devastating wildfires in Northern California. Over 14 thousand homes were damaged and more than 40 people lost their lives. On top of that, the fires caused propane tanks and toxic chemical releases that now demand additional cleanup.
It’s at times like these that really engage us as a larger community to step up and get involved in helping those affected.
California holds a powerhouse of people who have the ability to come to the help of others. Freedom Financial Network, through its Freedom Foundation, made sure to be among those doing all they could to mend our shared neighborhoods. Although the Freedom Foundation recently launched in September of 2017, it has already been involved in helping many charitable organizations that seek donations to help improve community recovery. The recent fires were no exception.
Initially, the Freedom Foundation made a $20,000 donation to Northern California Wildfire Relief, which is helping with recovery and rebuilding after the fires. But then its employees pitched in to increase that total. The fires struck a very personal chord with many of those working for the organization, since some team members at Freedom Financial Network were either directly affected by the fires, or had friends and family who were.

Debt is that looming worry that tiptoes or stomps around the American household, where it’s estimated that each household owes at least six thousand dollars. These figures are staggered by high interest rates and unreasonable monthly payments. When the debt keeps piling up, it’s difficult to get back to a place of financial stability. Outside help from companies specializing in debt counseling, debt relief, and debt consolidation are taking a vital role in the health of the American wallet. Freedom Debt Relief is one of the companies that’s leading people to a better financial future through their expert debt negotiation and debt settlement services.
Freedom Debt Relief is a debt settlement company founded in 2002 by Andrew Housser and Brad Stroh. They are both graduates of Stanford Business School who saw that Americans were lacking realistic and expert means to reduce their debt and gain monetary independence. Freedom Debt Relief doesn’t provide loans, and does not charge any upfront costs for debt negotiations. They only charge a fee if a settlement is negotiated. The company was a founding member of American Fair Credit Council (AFCC), which advocates for and abides by best fair credit practices. This means that they act ethically and in the interest of the consumer. The company is also rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau for these practices.

To succeed once enrolling in the program, Freedom Debt Relief suggests sticking to the goals you decide at the onset and actively partnering with FDR to achieve them. They suggest that you can resolve your debts faster than you would making minimum payments on what you already owe. You’re still putting in money and time to get results. And your program will vary depending on what debt you have and how much of it you have. But you will have a dedicated account in which you will have to deposit money each month. You’ll be able to track how much money you’ve put into your account versus how much debt you have. You’ll also see how much Freedom Debt Relief was able to negotiate. Like many long-term programs, FDR encourages its users to remain consistent and diligently deposit money while understanding where they are in the process of paying off their debts.
Relieving debt overall makes for a more healthy economy, and more money to go around when disaster strikes. Freedom Debt Relief and Freedom Foundation stay committed to being a community asset that goes beyond their call to do good in California and across the country. Donating to Northern California Wildfire Relief is just one way in which Freedom Foundation seeks to do good as a charitable organization. There is no proper way to grieve the misfortune of others who have been impacted by natural disasters. But we can at least become involved in the process of relief and recovery.
