Highway 84 Closed Due To Downed Power Lines Near Woodside
There were live power lines on the roadway near the Thornewood Preserve in unincorporated San Mateo County.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — As of 7 p.m. Saturday, state Highway 84 is closed from Fox Hill Road to state Highway 35 (Skyline Boulevard) after a vehicle collision in which a utility pole was knocked down, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said.
There were live power lines on the roadway, near the Thornewood Preserve in unincorporated San Mateo County near Woodside, and deputies said there is no estimated time to have the roadway open.
No information about the accident itself was immediately available.
