Highway 101 Lanes Reopen In San Mateo After Injury Crash
A crash Tuesday afternoon on northbound Highway 101 in San Mateo left at least one person injured and blocked multiple lanes.
SAN MATEO, CA — All lanes have reopened Tuesday afternoon on northbound Highway 101 in San Mateo after a crash left at least one person injured and blocked multiple lanes for nearly an hour, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The three-car crash was reported at 12:07 p.m. at the 3rd Avenue off-ramp. An ambulance was called to the scene, according to preliminary CHP logs.
A severe traffic alert was issued shortly after noon, reporting that the left lanes were blocked and that drivers should expect delays and avoid the area.
