The San Mateo Credit Union, Silicon Valley Community Foundation and other businesses and organizations are offering tuition assistance.

The San Mateo Credit Union is offering two $2,500 scholarships to Peninsula students.

Awards can assist with school expenses such as tuition, housing and books. Click here for the printable application. 

The deadline for submission is Friday, May 10, 2013 by 3:00 pm.

The Silicon Valley Community Foundation also offers a variety of scholarship programs that grant between $500 and $17,000 to high school, community college and university students. The majority of scholarships are designated for current or former residents of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
