REDWOOD CITY, CA — A Peninsula theatre group is inviting the public to join them in sticking fork in a year like no other with a New Year’s Eve party like no other.
The Redwood City-based Dragon Productions Theatre Company is calling its 2020 sendoff celebration “Light at the End.”
The 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. virtual event features will feature New Year’s celebrations in all four North American time zones with presentations from artists along with interactive food and cocktail tutorials.

The virtual event will feature musical performances by Karla and Khoi from “The Corner Laughers,” Dana Soliman and Darica Louie and a “pandemic fashion contest.”
Other entertainment features include poetry readings, live juggling and video highlights from Dragon’s 2020 projects.

A cocktail tutorial will be presented by Sobre Mesa mixologist Sade Stamps.
“Join us in our new, interactive virtual theater space to celebrate the death of 2020 and the birth of a new year with friends and strangers alike,” the group said in a description of the event on its website.
“It will be a New Year's Eve party unlike any other.”
Cost of admission to the event is $25.
