The vaccination site is expected to open Tuesday and will eventually have the capacity to administer up to 6,000 vaccine doses per day, state officials said earlier this month.

Albany seniors and residents with physical disabilities can get free rides to vaccination appointments at Golden Gate Fields, a transportation provider said Wednesday.

Rides are available each day of the week and vans are equipped to lift wheelchairs and accommodate other mobility devices.
