San Mateo County's First African American Woman Judge Gives Talk

Judge Amarra A. Lee will speak at an event hosted by the San Mateo County Historical Association on Saturday.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Judge Amarra A. Lee, the first African American woman judge in San Mateo County, will give a talk at an virtual event sponsored by the San Mateo County Historical Association on Saturday as part of its Courthouse Docket series.

Lee was appointed to the San Mateo County Superior Court in 2018 after serving for six years as a deputy district attorney for the county.

According to the event page, Lee will discuss about her career, beginning from childhood to her current position.
