San Mateo Dancers To Take Flight In 'Mateo Motion'

Get ready for this amazing display of young, local talent!

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Students from several Peninsula cities will converge in San Mateo this weekend for the 15th annual 'Mateo Motion' performance — and you're invited to attend. Organizers say shows are slated for Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. at San Mateo Performing Arts Center.

Students from San Mateo, Burlingame, Hillsborough and Foster City are all slated to take the stage.

In this year’s show, you'll see a variety of styles including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Bollywood, and Musical Theater. Performances are selling out quickly so get your tickets now!

SMHS Dance instructor Robyn Tribuzi has been teaching in Bay Area high school’s the past 30 years. She has also choreographed for Broadway by the Bay, Hillbarn, Notre Dame, Palo Alto Players, San Jose Musical Theatre, SJ Opera & SJ Symphony. Literally thousands of families have learned tap, jazz, modern and musical theatre from Robyn whose students range from ballerinas to football players!
