San Mateo Fast-Casual Restaurant Launches Weekend Brunch Service

SAN MATEO, CA — Winner Winner Chicken, a San Mateo fast-casual restaurant known for its Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, is launching a new brunch menu called "Champagne Wishes & Hot Chicken Dreams."

The concept, created by Chefs Jeremy Cheng and Randy Magpantay, will be available on weekends only until 3 p.m.

Winner Winner Chicken is located inside San Mateo's Hillsdale Shopping Center. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

The brunch menu is below:

  • COASTAL BERRIES & GREEK YOGURT: house granola & maple syrup ($6.95)
  • CHARRED AVOCADO TOAST: artisan achiote sourdough, old school egg salad, Haas avocado, wild arugula, lemon oil, everything bagel seasoning ($9.95)
  • CHICKEN & WAFFLE: Belgian cheddar waffle, Maldon sea salt butter, maple syrup ($14.95)
  • THE VARSITY SANDWICH: applewood bacon, maple ham, fried cage free eggs, American cheese, artisan sourdough, comeback sauce, served w/ side or fries or tots ($13.95)
  • GRIDDLED CUSTARD FRENCH TOAST: coastal berries, maple syrup, balsamic sugar ($9.95)
  • WINNER WINNER BURRITO: crispy chicken, scrambled cage free eggs, applewood bacon, tater tots, house pico, queso, salsa rojo ($12.95)
