San Mateo's Summer Music Series Is Underway

SAN MATEO, CA — San Mateo's signature summer event got underway Thursday in Central Park, city officials said.

The Central Park Music Series started Thursday at 6 p.m. It will continue every Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through Aug. 15, except on July 4.

On July 4, music will start at noon and a 4th of July event will start at 11 a.m. Both events end at 2 p.m.

The music series is free and open to the public.

Central Park is located at 50 E. Fifth Ave.
