San Mateo County Pride Celebration Happening Next Week

This year's theme embraces culture and diversity while tearing down borders.

Come out and show your pride this summer, as the fourth annual San Mateo County Pride Celebration will be held June 4.

This year’s theme “Pride Without Borders: Embracing Culture and Diversity,” which how cultural and other differences overlap and affect the community. All are welcome to this free event.

The border-free bash will include entertainment for all ages, including a variety of musical performances. Featured artists include DJ Char, Sistahs of the Drum and Munecas among others.

The celebration also promises a queer fashion show by THUY Custom Clothier, as well as local art, vendors and food trucks.

Running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the celebration will be held at San Mateo Central Park at 50 East 5th Avenue. Mark your calendars San Mateo; show your pride.
