5% Community Day to benefit the San Mateo County Parks Foundation

Soul Stroll for Health 2013

• Saturday, May 18; 9AM - 1PM

• Coyote Point Park, San Mateo

• Join Honorary Chairman Aaron Perry - the first African American, diabetic, Ironman triathlete and walk, stroll or roll by the beautiful San Francisco Bay.  Besides 1, 3, & 5 mile courses, Soul Stroll includes a Health and Screening Resource Fair to promote healthy lifestyles by providing information & health education materials.  Everyone is welcome so bring the entire family.

Bay Area Flirting Convention

• Saturday, May 18; 7:30pm - Midnight

• 1770 S Amphlett Blvd, San Mateo

• Meet new friends, hear a keynote, compete in a flirting contest and dance the night away. $15/advance (by May 16) or $20/door. Adults of all ages welcome. Dressy attire requested for this upscale hotel.

Swim Across America - Fundraiser

• The College of San Mateo hosts swim events and an aqua aerobics class at the pools for a fundraiser to fight cancer.

Bay Area Vintage, Antiques & Collectibles Fair

• Sunday, May 19; 4 PM

• Cow Palace, 2600 Geneva Ave Daly City

• Come to The Bay Area Vintage, Antiques & Collectibles Fair, held the third Sunday of the month indoors at the Cow Palace. Shop up to 400 sellers of vintage & antique furniture, clothing, jewelry, ephemera, toys, art and local artisans of repurposed, upcycled and salvaged goods.
