Stand Down San Mateo 2017: Volunteers, Sponsors Sought
Support veterans in the San Mateo area by volunteering or donating to Stand Down San Mateo 2017.

SAN MATEO, CA - From the desk of the Peninsula Special Interest Lions Club: Stand Down San Mateo is a continuation of the 1 day Stand Down on May 5, 2017 and is a 3 day encampment for homeless and/or at risk Veterans to come together and receive support from their community. Veterans are provided with a multitude of services during their stay.
The goal of Stand Down San Mateo is to treat all Veteran participants with respect and dignity, as well as honoring our female Veterans and families of Veterans. Our Nation’s Veterans have made the ultimate sacrifices for our freedoms, which is why we strive to make Stand Down San Mateo “All about the Veteran”. To donate please visit www.psilcevents.com Lions Clubs, other Service Organizations, Veterans; Veteran Support Groups, Community and Military Leaders all coming together to help Veterans with a Hand Up.
