Teen Arrested For Attempted Homicide In San Mateo
Police said the incident happened around 9 p.m. Oct. 26 in the block of North B Street.

SAN MATEO, CA -- San Mateo police officers arrested a teenager Friday for an October shooting that sent a man to a trauma center. Police said the incident happened around 9 p.m. Oct. 26 in the block of North B Street.
Responding officers found a 20-year-old male, resident of San Mateo, in the parking lot of the transit center suffering from a single non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
An investigation determined the suspect was a 16-year-old male, who was found Friday in Burlingame.

Detectives followed the arrest with a search warrant at the suspect's residence located in the 800 block of West Sunset Boulevard in Hayward and additional evidence was collected.
The 16-year-old was booked into San Mateo County Juvenile Hall for attempted homicide, juvenile possession of a firearm, and gang enhancement.
