Nature's Theater Camp - with healing and understanding about fire

Kid will learn and perform "Fire Spirits", as well as engage in leadership and nature activities on the shores of Lake Berryessa

Nature's Theater partners with Napa County Regional Park and Open Space District, and Tuleyome, a regional conservation non-profit, to create a 6-day sleep-away program at Eco-Camp Berryessa that uses Nature and Theater Arts to help kids heal from the recent fires, and connect to Nature at the same time.

We have created a custom play that offers understanding and empowerment for kids about the fire element. The campers will learn and perform "Fire Spirits" for family and friends at pickup. The campers interact with the participants as good and bad fire spirits - and youth have an opportunity to express themselves in many ways. Family and friends engage interactively - and the experience will be meaningful for all. The campers will have the opportunity for a reprise of the show at Farmer's Market venues after the camp ends.

Our NATURE'S THEATER CAMP is all about Connecting Kids to Nature and important issues in fun ways - especially with Theater Arts, Leadership Experiences and Nature Activities.

In addition to learning and performing the walking play, kids will thrive in a week of imaginative fun with Theater Games, Creature Makeup, Kayaking, Swimming, Spirit Animals, Storytelling & Songs around the Campfire, Yoga, Crafts and Survival Skills.

Jeff Falyn, co-founder of Nature’s Theater will be at camp for the week, and with a masters degree in psychology - he will be a resource for children who need support. Lyndsay and Jeff have led kids on Nature’s Theater experiences for over a decade.

The kids will have memories of a lifetime, gain empowerment and healing around fire and forge a deep connection to Nature. We aim to revive a needed human experience in this media-free camp.
