Rockin' Block Party – City of Lakewood, CO (celebrity.land) — Lakewood is already gearing up for its free Rockin’ Block Party, set for the evening of June 6, 2026 at the Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park amphitheater. GOCO Awards $2.1M for conservation and stewardship (lavozcolorado.com) — Lakewood will receive a $58,200 GOCO-funded conservation corps grant to remove invasive Russian olive and restore native vegetation along 202 acres of Bear Creek Trail. The work aims to protect wildlife habitat, stabilize stream banks, and keep this heavily used regional trail safe, healthy, and accessible for hundreds of thousands of annual users.
   

5. Amazon Delivery Driver Arrested for Alleged Attack and Attempted Assault at Lakewood Dental Office (hoodline.com) — A Lakewood dental office was the scene of a serious alleged assault involving an Amazon delivery driver, leaving one person badly hurt before staff and patients intervened. The suspect, a Denver resident, faces multiple charges and is no longer delivering for Amazon, while the clinic’s owner is questioning how delivery drivers are screened for safety.
