2 Injured In 2 Separate Brookfield Crashes

It was a busy day for Brookfield Fire & EMS...

BROOKFIELD, CT — It was a busy Sunday for Brookfield Fire and EMS crews, as two people needed hospitalization following two separate crashes.

At 1:13 p.m., emergency services personnel were called for a single car rollover with entrapment at North Mountain Road and Laurel Hill Road. First responders reported minor injuries, but the car doors would not open. Crews were able to gain access to the passenger compartment and the patient was evaluated by EMS before being taken to Danbury Hospital for evaluation.

At 5:59 p.m., Brookfield Fire and EMS crews were called to the site where a car crashed into a building on Federal Road near Elbow Hill Road. The patient was removed from the vehicle prior to Fire and EMS arrival and was taken to Danbury Hospital for evaluation.
