A carjacking in New Jersey caused reverberations in Monroe when a GPS reading found the stolen car's location was on a campus shared by two elementary schools and a middle school. After a lockdown and police search of the area, nothing was found. Harrison, N.J., police eventually recovered the car in Newark. Turns out that the car dealership apparently installed the GPS in the wrong Acura — so police were tracking the wrong car.Â

A Ridgefield man was arrested last week on charges of attempting to sell hallucinogenic mushrooms to a minor after police broke up the alleged sale in progress. The man was also found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and charged with risk of injury to a minor.
