Brookfield Announces New Guide Rails on Federal Road

BROOKFIELD, CT — New guide rails have been erected along the east shoulder of Federal Road, the police have announced.

The guide rails run from just north of the Route 7 NB Exit 12 ramp to a point just beyond the intersection of Laurel Hill Road.

"This guide rail will help keep errant vehicles from leaving the roadway and traveling down the embankment in the direction of the Still River Greenway Trail as it parallels Federal Road in this area," the Brookfield PD posted on social media.
