Brookfield Bank Robbery: Suspect Still At Large
Police in Brookfield are investigating a bank robbery.
BROOKFIELD, CT — Police are seeking a suspect that allegedly robbed the Newtown Savings Bank, the department announced Friday. The robbery took place just before 9 a.m., and police say no weapon was shown.
The suspect was described as a black man with a moustache, medium build, and five-feet-ten inches tall. He was last seen walking to the right as he left the bank.
Area police and K-9 units searched the scene and did not find the suspect.
