Brookfield Dancers Perform at St. Patrick's Day Parade Fundraiser

The St. Patrick's Day Parade fundraiser will be held at Molly Darcy's on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 1-6 p.m. with Irish dancers from Brookfield.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Three local dance schools, which have dancers from Brookfield, will perform this Sunday at the annual Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade Fundraiser to be held on Feb. 10th from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Molly Darcy's, 39 Mill Plain Rd. Danbury. The Thorne Academy of Irish Dance, Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing, and Ashurst Academy Dancers will perform at the fundraiser. Live music includes The Highland Rovers, Celtic Cross Pipes & Drums Band, Mighty Ploughboys, and Steve O'Tree and friends. A delicious hot buffet dinner and entry to the event is just $15.

The Danbury St. Patrick's Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in downtown Danbury. The parade steps off that day in front of St. Peter Church on Main St. in Danbury at 2:00 p.m., turns onto West St., continues on to Lake Ave. and ends at the Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (GDICC) where there will be live Irish music, dancing, food and fun! Families are invited into the Heritage Room at the GDICC for the post-parade party. Corned beef sandwiches and Shepard's Pie will be available for sale.
