Brookfield Family Displaced After House Fire
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brookfield Fire Marshal's office.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A family was displaced following a fire that destroyed their home early Friday morning.
The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Companies and crews from neighboring towns responded to the report of the house fire on Christian Lane around 4 a.m.
First responders found a large single family residence ablaze at the end of a very long driveway, and called in a second alarm.

All family member had safely left the residence, and no injuries were reported.
Brookfield police officials reported that the fire prompted a "large presence of emergency vehicles in this area," as well as off Route 25 in the area of Aramon Circle, where firefighters accessed a fire hydrant to help extinguish the flames.
