Brookfield Freeze Warning Issued: Sub-Freezing Temps Expected

A Freeze Warning has been issued for the Brookfield area.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The rain may be going but the wind chill is coming. A Freeze Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for the area overnight Tuesday through 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Temperatures in the 20s to lower 30s are expected and will kill sensitive plants and sensitive vegetation if not covered or brought indoors.

  • Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 30. North wind 6 to 10 mph.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 54. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. North wind 6 to 10 mph.
  • Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. Calm wind becoming northeast around 5 mph after midnight.
  • Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 58. Wind chill values between 25 and 35 early. North wind 7 to 9 mph.
  • Thursday Night: Clear, with a low around 31. East wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.
  • Friday: Sunny, with a high near 59.
  • Friday Night: Clear, with a low around 37.
  • Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 63.
  • Saturday Night: Clear, with a low around 40.
  • Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 70.
  • Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 44.
