Brookfield Museum to Honor Local 9/11 Victims

9/11 Memorial Display 9/1 and 9/8 from Noon to 4

Judith Hoffmiller, a former Brookfield Resident, who perished on 9/11 at the World Trade Center will be one of four individuals with ties to Brookfield whose memory will be honored by the Town’s Historical Society. She will be part of the 9/11 memorial display open to the public on consecutive Saturdays, September 1 and 8, 2018 from noon to 4 PM. In addition, the exhibit will include personal testimonials from Brookfield citizens who lived through the tragic events of that day as well as recorded acts of courage by Brookfield first responders. This year marks the 19th anniversary of 9/11 and area residents are encouraged to visit and pay tribute to the fallen heroes. The memorial display will be on view at the Brookfield Museum located at 165 Whisconer Road, Brookfield Center at the intersection of Route 25 and 133.
