Brookfield Police Investigate Jet Ski Theft

It's the latest in a series of area jet-ski thefts.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Police are investigating the theft of a jet ski from a dock on Candlewood Lake.

The 2016 Sea-Doo RXT-X300 and has a CT boating registration number CT 3028BK.

This isn't the first time this year Brookfield police have found themselves searching for a stolen personal water craft. In April, two Sea-Doo brand jet skis and a two-place trailer were reported missing.

Earlier this month, a resident of Newtown reported that a 2017 Sea-Doo GTR 230 had been stolen from his boat dock. Investigators determined that vehicle had been taken during the overnight hours of Aug. 11-12.
