Brookfield Schools Will No Longer Offer Remote Learning
The Brookfield Board of Education voted to discontinue offering remote learning opportunities for students for the 2021-2022 school year.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Board of Education voted to discontinue offering remote learning opportunities for students for the 2021-2022 school year.
The unanimous vote came during a regularly scheduled meeting of the BOE on Wednesday.
Remote learning was an option for students throughout the 2020-21 school year, due to the coronavirus pandemic. Regardless of whether a school district was officially offering the in-person or hybrid attendance model, the state mandated schools also offer parents a remote learning option. New guidance from the state releases schools from that obligation for the coming school year.
