How did you come up with name?

I began practicing out of my home, which has a river in the backyard. I loved connecting nature to my business name.

What business are you In?

I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and an Intuitive Healer. I treat clients with a variety of issues from physical to emotional ailments. I utilize essential oils as aromatherapy to give my healing sessions “extra strength” and send my clients home with oils and techniques to continue their progress. I also teach Reiki and Meditation classes, individual and group sessions.

Why start a business in this town?

I love the small town atmosphere and it seems to be a place that is open to holistic type businesses.

What is the most difficult moment or challenge you’ve faced as a business owner?

The scariness of leaving a secure (but high-stress) full time job to pursue my dreams of helping others deal with the stress-related health issues that I faced myself.

What has been your favorite moment or proudest achievement since opening?

The satisfaction of helping someone feel better and realize that there are ways to manage their stressful lifestyle.

How does your business give back to the community?

I hosted a month-long meditation series at the Bethel Teen Center and would like to continue that on a regular basis. Our kids desperately need to learn how to unwind and un-plug. I also like to offer free mini-Reiki sessions at local events so that everyone has the chance to experience it.
