Car Crashes Into Pole, Downs Wires, in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — Firefighters and EMS crews were dispatched Monday night when a car crashed into a utility pole.

The accident occurred in the area of 128 Whisconier Road. First responders from the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Company discovered that a pole was snapped with wires down. The driver refused medical attention.

The road was closed for multiple hours while Eversource repaired the pole and lines, the Company reported on Facebook.
