Coronavirus Brookfield: More Cases In BHS, Whisconier
More members of the Brookfield High School Whisconier Middle School communities tested positive for COVID-19.
BROOKFIELD, CT — More members of the Brookfield High School and Whisconier Middle School communities tested positive for coronavirus, Superintendent John Barile has announced.
Two from Brookfield High School were announced on Friday, and one from Whisconier Middle School and another from BHS on Thursday.
The affected people have been instructed to remain home and isolate for 10 days.

Anyone who is considered a "close contact" with the infected community members has been contacted by now or will be contacted very soon and provided with instructions on the appropriate steps to take, which includes quarantine for 14 days, according to Barile.

"During Remote Learning we will no longer send updates to the entire community or schools not affected by a positive COVID-19 case. Rather, we will notify only the affected school community," Barile said.
