CT Is Now 2nd In Nation In Per Capita Coronavirus Vaccine Jabs
Here are the latest town-by-town coronavirus cases in Connecticut.

CONNECTICUT — An additional 1,609 cases of the coronavirus were confirmed Tuesday in the state, bringing that total to 327,298. With 36,502 tests reported, the daily positivity rate now sits at 4.41 percent, up over a half percentage point from the previous day.
As of Tuesday, Connecticut has received 3,201,205 vaccine doses from national distributors, and has administered 2,572,005 of those to residents. The state has delivered 72,140 doses per 100,000 population, making it the leader in this category behind only New Hampshire, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Hospitalizations dropped by 27 beds overnight, according to the state Department of Public Health. That brings the number of those hospitalized with the virus to 518.

Coronavirus-associated deaths across the state rose by 10 on Tuesday. The COVID-19 death toll in Connecticut now stands at 7,984.
