Federal Road Access To Still River Greenway Closed for 4 Weeks

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Federal Road access point to the Still River Greenway is closed through July 9.

The Greenway can still be accessed at either the Silvermine Road Trailhead (next to the Police Department) or via the Town Hall Trailhead, behind the Kids Kingdom Playground.

The Brookfield Parks and Recreation Department advises that if the Still River Greenway lot is full, residents should to park in the Public Area (the green area in the photo above) at the Police Department or in the Town Hall parking lot, as shown below.

The Brookfield Police Department urges residents not to park or walk in the areas at the police headquarters shown in red. Use the parking shown in green and the sidewalk in front of the police department building.
