Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Brookfield

All of southern Connecticut is under a Hazardous Weather Outlook, which calls for threats of flash flooding and a possible, albeit low, chance of damaging winds.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 70. South wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.

Tonight
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 61. South wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Wednesday
A 50 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 65. Light and variable wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.

A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Light and variable wind becoming northwest around 5 mph after midnight.
