How Much Rain Did Brookfield Get?

BROOKFIELD, CT — As local crews and officials scramble to clean up damage caused by Sunday's rain and wind storm, preliminary rainfall totals are beginning to come in for the area. In Fairfield County, some of the heaviest rains were seen in Westport and Shelton, according to the National Weather Service.

A reading taken by the U.S. Geological Survey indicates Brookfield received 4.1 inches of rain within the past 24 hours.

It should be noted that the figures are not yet official, and that rains and winds continue to fall on the area.
