BROOKFIELD, CT — Police are investigating a major crash that caused the shutdown of a section of Candlewood Lake Road Saturday night.
The crash closed the road from the back entrance of BJ’s to the entrance of Bed Bath and Beyond, according to a social media post from the Brookfield Police Department.
The crash, which occurred around 5:30 p.m., was being investigated by the PD's Accident Investigation Team. The road was reopened around 9 p.m.
