CT Weather: Summer-Like Weather Emerges This Week

April was not very kind to us but there are some big changes on the way for the start of May. Here's the work week weather forecast.

It looks like we're going to skip spring and head right into summer this week as temperatures will climb into the 80s for the first time this year. It's been such a cold and dreary April, minus a couple of nice days, and as May begins on Tuesday we're expecting temperatures to climb near 80 on the Shoreline and into the 80s in interior sections of Connecticut.

It's also fitting that the last day of April, Monday, will end on another sour note with some showers, clouds and chilly temps. We wouldn't want April to change all of a sudden right? But beginning on May 1, temps moderate and keep doing so over the first week of May.

We're also looking at plenty of sun beginning Tuesday through Friday.
