Men’s Club of Valley Presbyterian Donates To Housatonic Habitat
Supports building projects

The Men’s Club of Valley Presbyterian Church of Brookfield recently made a donation to support Housatonic Habitat for Humanity’s building projects. Valley Presbyterian was among the original founding organizations of Housatonic Habitat for Humanity, which serves Greater Danbury. Valley Presbyterian Church has especially been involved with funding Habitat’s affordable housing mission, including a grant challenge for the affiliate’s Linden Place homes.
Housatonic Habitat’s Executive Director Fran Normann said, “There were twelve local covenant churches which teamed together to start our local affiliate. We’ve come a long way since then, having built more than 25 homes over the years. We are thankful for Valley’s continued support.”
Housatonic Habitat for Humanity focuses on making a meaningful difference in the lives of qualified working families by promoting financial stability and self-sufficiency through ownership of affordable homes. Households often consist of those who have limited assets and who have jobs that also have income caps.
